Local Seniors Treated to Abalone Samgyetang and Watermelon
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters held a "Summer Samgyetang Sharing Event" at the Wonnae Free Meal Center in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, on the 16th to mark Chobok, the first of the three hottest days of summer.

View original imageAt the event, Kwanghun Lee, Head of Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, Jaerak Jung, Head of External Cooperation, and about 10 members of the Kori volunteer team participated, serving 100 meals of abalone samgyetang and watermelon to elderly people from vulnerable groups living near the nuclear power plant.
Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters also plans to hold a Samgyetang sharing event for Jungbok, the second of the three hottest days, at the Ilgwang Free Meal Center on the 26th. They announced that they will donate a total of 250 servings of food ingredients worth 2.8 million won, including abalone samgyetang and watermelon, to neighbors in need in the Gijang-gun area.
