Silla University Department of Airline Service: All 27 Students Pass 'IATA Certification Exam' During Summer Vacation
Participation in Air Passenger Fare and Cabin Crew Qualification Program
The Department of Aviation Services at Silla University (President: Hur Namsik) announced on the 17th that all students who participated in a non-curricular program operated for two weeks during the summer vacation obtained their certifications.
From June 24, the Department of Aviation Services at Silla University ran a non-curricular program for two weeks with 27 students participating, offering certification courses in IATA (International Air Transportation Association) Airline Passenger Fares and Airline Cabin Crew Training.
The Airline Passenger Fares certification exam, which evaluates overall understanding of airline passenger fares, is aimed at those seeking employment in general airline positions. The Airline Cabin Crew certification exam assesses comprehensive knowledge of airline crew safety and service duties as well as airport operations. Both are highly useful certifications for students aspiring to work in the aviation service field.
Students from the Department of Aviation Services at Silla University who took the IATA Airline Passenger Fares and Airline Cabin Crew certification exams on the 8th and 9th demonstrated the synergy of what they learned during the semester and the two-week non-curricular program in the summer, achieving a 100% pass rate.
Professor Choi Panho of the Department of Aviation Services at Silla University, who supervised the certification program, said, "The program, which started at the beginning of the vacation, saw high attendance rates and enthusiastic participation from the students, resulting in all candidates passing the exams."
