The education was held for about three hours from 7 PM to 10 PM, considering the working hours of the youth.
The main topics included ▲ precautions when signing real estate contracts ▲ using real estate apps, essential real estate information that the 2030 generation is curious about, and ▲ appropriate ratios of living expenses and financial investment ▲ financial management related to asset management.
The 'Jeonbuk Youth Together Double Savings Project' supports young people who have been continuously employed for more than three months by matching the same amount of 100,000 KRW as their own monthly deposit of 100,000 KRW for two years with local government funds.
Recipients are selected based on priority considering household size, age, residence period, and employment period, targeting those with an income below 140% of the median income.
In the case of Jeongeup City, the number of selected participants increased from 20 last year to 50 this year.
Selected individuals must maintain residency conditions and complete financial education and consulting as mandatory requirements.
A city official said, "We hope this project helps young people build assets, and that the financial education provided a valuable opportunity to develop rational decision-making habits and seriously consider planning for the future."
