Since last year, Saeul Headquarters has been operating customized system and fire protection training for firefighters to strengthen radiation emergency response capabilities and establish a cooperative system with related organizations.
Lee Jeonggyu, a firefighter from Buk-gu Fire Station in Ulsan City who attended this training, said, "I think it will be very helpful in establishing a system for on-site response and countermeasures in the event of an actual emergency."
Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to conduct two more training sessions for firefighters in the future, and expects that this will help firefighters better understand nuclear power.
