Yuanta Securities Sells 1.45 Trillion KRW Retail Funds in First Half of This Year
Achieving the Largest Half-Year Performance Since Inception
Yuanta Securities announced on the 15th that it sold a total of 1.4584 trillion KRW worth of funds through branch retail operations in the first half of this year, achieving the highest half-year fund sales performance since its launch.
Yuanta Securities, which has shown strengths in the public offering fund market, sold 770 billion KRW worth of public offering funds in the first half alone, reaching a cumulative balance of approximately 1.6 trillion KRW.
So far, Yuanta Securities has provided funds with a 'Public Offering + Alpha Strategy,' which combines the effects of public offering investments with various strategies, based on collaboration between the headquarters' Product Strategy Division and Retail Strategy Division.
In addition, it established an IPO fund department to provide differentiated information to sales staff and held seminars and conferences such as 'Financial Product Trend Meetings' and 'Demand Knowledge Meetings' to strengthen communication between headquarters and branches. Within the public offering fund types, it also offered products with various strategies and structures, including government bonds, debt restructuring bonds, and income-differentiated types.
Ultra-short-term bond funds, a good investment alternative for liquidity funds, were also sold in the amount of about 440 billion KRW. Recommending products with low investment burden to new and dormant customers with short-term investment funds during the interest rate cut period led to a considerable scale of sales.
