Sweet Spot, a company specializing in pop-up stores, announced on the 15th that the total transaction amount of pop-up stores operated in retail store spaces during the first half of this year exceeded 5 billion KRW.
Founded in 2015, Sweet Spot started by brokering pop-up stores in idle spaces of office buildings and introduced a service that provides a customized full process including planning, design, and operation of pop-up stores according to brand needs.
Sweet Spot explained that through mutual collaboration with major retailers such as Shinsegae, Hyundai, and Lotte, it has conducted over 8,300 pop-up stores in the past nine years. Based on this, Sweet Spot hosted pop-up stores for various brands including fashion, characters, and games in large retail spaces during the first half of this year, and the total combined duration of each pop-up store operation reached 411 days.
