Golf Membership Market Faces Low Trading Volume in Off-Season

The golf membership market is in a wait-and-see mode for transactions.
According to Dong-A Membership Exchange on the 13th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 257.78 million KRW. This is a 0.31% increase compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.51%, high price segment 0.01%, mid-price segment 0.31%, and low price segment 0.27%. Dong-A Membership Exchange stated, "Buying demand is concentrated on certain items in the metropolitan area, causing the overall average price to rise slightly. We expect the overall trend to remain stable for the time being."
The average price in the central region is 291.98 million KRW, up 0.34% from last week. The 88 course saw active additional buy orders, rising 0.94%. Giheung and Gold also steadily attracted buying demand, increasing by 0.70% and 2.11%, respectively. Hwasan only had high-priced listings confirmed, rising 3.70%, Korea surged 4.88% due to a sharp increase in selling offers, and Seowon Valley jumped 1.10% amid a tug-of-war between buyers and sellers. On the other hand, Shinwon fell 0.54%, Jisan 1.28%, and Yeoju-Jusik declined 0.84%. Team leader Park Cheon-ju forecasted, "The central region membership market continues to show differentiated trends by item. The overall stable trend is expected to continue."

The average price in the southern region is 169.26 million KRW, a slight increase of 0.17% compared to last week. Changwon, which offers combined benefits, rose 2.70% due to active buying demand. Seonsan saw only accumulated buy orders, increasing 2.65%. Gaya turned to a wait-and-see stance in buying demand, dropping 0.54%. Opel also traded according to buying offers, falling 1.35%. Team leader Lee Yoon-hee predicted, "The southern region membership market is expected to continue differentiated trends by item."
