Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Provides Broadcast Audio Support Service at Stadiums
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) will provide 'broadcast audio support for visually impaired on-site spectators' starting from the 12th at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium, and Gwangju Kia Champions Field.

This service has been operated since last year to create a discrimination-free viewing culture. It helps visually impaired individuals listen to live television broadcast audio in real time through dedicated devices installed at the stadium. A Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism official explained, "They can enjoy the baseball game while feeling the vivid atmosphere of the venue."
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, KBO, and each team (Doosan, LG, Lotte, KIA) will expand online and offline promotions to encourage active use. A dedicated wired phone number that delivers the device to the seat upon advance reservation will also be widely publicized.
