Learning Is a Lifelong Journey... Daegu Cyber University First Round Applications for New and Transfer Students for Fall Semester Close on the 16th
14 Departments Open for Application Regardless of CSAT Scores
Daegu Cyber University will close the first round of applications for new and transfer students for the second semester of the 2024 academic year on the 16th.
The announcement of successful applicants for this first round is scheduled for the 22nd.
The recruitment is open for four divisions: Rehabilitation Science, Social Welfare, Education and Administration, and Creative Engineering, covering a total of 14 departments including Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Welfare, Social Welfare Counseling, Special Education, Korean Language and Multicultural Studies, Public Administration, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Media Contents.
New students who have graduated from high school or have an equivalent qualification can apply regardless of their high school grades or college entrance exam scores. Those who have completed more than 35 credits at a four-year university can transfer into the second year.
Graduates of junior colleges and those who have completed at least two years or four semesters and more than 70 credits at a four-year university are eligible to apply for third-year transfer.
The tuition fee per semester is approximately 1,360,000 KRW for 18 credits, which is about one-third of the cost at offline universities. Students from low-income and near-poor families, as well as those in income brackets 1 through 8, are eligible for national scholarships and have no educational expenses.
Additionally, even those above the ninth income bracket can benefit from over 40 types of internal scholarship programs, allowing 75% of enrolled students to receive scholarships and attend university without tuition burden.
In particular, the industry-commissioned admission track, which is popular among working professionals, is available for employees of partner companies, government agencies, and military units with which the university has agreements.
It is highly popular as it allows students to balance work and study through 100% online classes, obtain a regular four-year bachelor's degree, and acquire various certifications and practical training opportunities. There is also a 50% tuition reduction benefit, which helps reduce educational expenses.
Applications can be submitted online through the Daegu Cyber University Admissions Center website. For inquiries, prospective students can visit the Admissions Center website, contact the Admissions Promotion Team by phone, or search for @DaeguCyberUniversity on KakaoTalk to add the channel and request a consultation.
An additional recruitment for new and transfer students for the second round of the 2024 academic year will take place starting July 31.
