Ozone Advisory Lifted in 12 Districts of Southeast and Northeast Seoul
The ozone advisory issued for 12 districts in the southeastern and northeastern areas of Seoul was lifted in the afternoon.
The Ministry of Environment's Korea Environment Corporation announced that the ozone advisory for 12 districts in the southeastern and northeastern areas of Seoul was lifted at 5 p.m. on the 11th.
The affected districts are Gangnam-gu, Seocho-gu, Songpa-gu, Gangdong-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Seongdong-gu, Jungnang-gu, Dongdaemun-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Dobong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, and Nowon-gu.
The hourly average ozone concentration in the lifted areas as of 5 p.m. was 0.1169 ppm (parts per million) in the southeastern area and 0.1167 ppm in the northeastern area.

An ozone advisory is issued when the 1-hour average ozone (O₃) concentration in the air is 0.12 ppm or higher, an ozone alert at 0.30 ppm or higher, and an ozone severe alert at 0.50 ppm or higher.
