The "BNK Agichunsa Savings," launched last May, was recognized for helping address social issues such as population decline and low birth rates by offering a high interest rate of up to 8% per annum to provide economic benefits to households with newborns or multiple children.
In addition, as a mobile-exclusive product, the entire process from opening the savings account to submitting documents for preferential interest rates can be completed through the mobile banking app, enhancing customer convenience.
Last year, to help address the sharp decline in marriage rates, Busan Bank also launched the "NeomanSolo Savings" product, limited to 20,000 accounts, to help people in their 20s and 30s save for marriage expenses, which sold out quickly.
Kim Yongkyu, Head of Customer Marketing Division at Busan Bank, said, "We hope that the BNK Agichunsa Savings will help address the low birth rate issue, even if just a little," and added, "We will continue to develop practical financial products that help solve social problems that arise at each stage of life."
