"Pour me a drink"… Female executive at Sports Council repeatedly sexually harasses male employees
Reinstated After Recently Receiving a 2-Month Suspension
There are allegations that a female team leader at the Bucheon City Sports Council has been habitually sexually harassing and committing sexual crimes against male employees, sparking expected controversy.
On the 10th, JTBC's 'Incident Commander' released a video sent by employees who claimed to have suffered sexual harm from the female team leader, Ms. A, at the Sports Council.
The media reported that during a Sports Council dinner held in May last year, a conversation about body weight arose. At that time, Ms. A reportedly sat on a male employee's knee and stood up, engaging in a sexually suggestive act disguised as a joke, saying, "How heavy do you think my body is?" It is known that she repeated such behavior with other employees as well.

On the same day, Ms. A also wrapped her arm around an employee's neck to pull him close and kissed another employee on the cheek, engaging in physical contact. The employees expressed, "It was sudden and we were embarrassed and felt uncomfortable," adding, "Due to the atmosphere of the drinking party, we could not show anger, but it was unpleasant."
Ms. A's actions were not limited to this. In the past, she reportedly instructed employees to "sit next to me and pour drinks," and during workshops, she made sexual jokes with executives. She also said, "My husband is on a business trip, so I feel lonely," and engaged in physical contact by linking arms with employees. The employees claim that as many as 10 male employees have suffered from Ms. A's behavior over the past eight years.
Employees with lower ranks than Ms. A reportedly could not protest against her. Ms. A was the most senior employee at the Sports Council, having worked there for over 20 years, which naturally made her a powerful figure within the organization, and her authority over work was significant.
However, as the Sports Council became aware of Ms. A's behavior, a disciplinary committee was recently held. It is reported that after the Bucheon City Council received a whistleblower report, the details of Ms. A's misconduct were conveyed to the Sports Council. Ms. A received a two-month suspension from the disciplinary committee and reportedly returned to work in early last month.
