Tmon's ongoing internship program attracted 2,200 applicants this year.
Tmon announced on the 11th that the number of ongoing internship applicants exceeded 2,200 in the first half of the year, and the number of interns who transitioned to full-time employees after the internship surpassed double digits. Tmon's ongoing internship program is a recruitment-linked internship program where interns work for 3 to 6 months and are evaluated for conversion to full-time positions. The currently open positions include Product Planner (MD), Marketing, and Business Support.
Among the approximately 2,200 applicants who submitted resumes for the ongoing internship recruitment starting in January, over 100 passed the document screening and proceeded to interviews. Interns who overcame about a 5:1 competition ratio were assigned to departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Business Support. The number of interns who joined as full-time employees after completing the internship process in each department also reached double digits in the first half of the year.
Tmon's internship program has evolved over three years, helping job seekers interested in the e-commerce industry enter the field. Starting with the "Experience-type Internship" in the summer of 2022, about 50 people joined through last year's "Tina Internship" program, more than half of whom were converted to full-time employees. Tmon supplemented the previous system, which allowed applications and hiring only during 3 to 4 specific periods annually, by creating a program that allows year-round applications starting this year.
