This came just two days after Im Mi-ae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, pointed out that there was no mention of Dokdo in the "New Government Oceans and Fisheries Ministry Briefing" in August 2022 under the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, subsequent briefings, or this year's public discussion presentation materials on livelihood issues.
He also stated that along with developing Korean-style smart ports, timely construction of regional port infrastructure will be ensured, and investment in port hinterlands will be revitalized.
