Providing Education, Diagnosis, and Consulting Support to Aviation Industry Partners
The Win-Win Growth Committee announced on the 9th that it has signed a participation agreement for the 'Partner ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Support Project' with Korea Airports Corporation.
This agreement was established to promote the development of the domestic aviation industry and to create a sustainable management ecosystem.
Korea Airports Corporation is a specialized public airport operation institution that manages 14 regional airports across the country and carries out projects to foster the aviation industry. Since 2008, it has been practicing ESG management and emphasizes voluntary win-win growth with its partners. This is the first year participating in the partner ESG support project.
To implement the agreement, Korea Airports Corporation plans to contribute to the mutual cooperation fund and support partner companies in adopting and spreading ESG management. It will comprehensively provide ESG management internalization training for CEOs and practitioners, in-depth diagnosis and consulting, and self-diagnosis services.
In addition, it will continue ESG management activities for the circular economy, such as expanding the 'Gimpo Airport Waste Asphalt Resource Circulation Project' to airports nationwide. The waste asphalt resource circulation project utilizes waste asphalt generated at airport construction sites as raw materials.
