Dongdaemun-gu, Full Effort for 10,000 Households Moving In by 2025... How?
Preparation of Improvement Measures for Current System Following Scheduled Move-in of 9,658 Households Next Year
Focus on Preventing Completion and Move-in Delays and Providing Convenience During Move-in
Strengthening Pre-Consultation Body Functions to Establish Organic Relations with Quality Inspection Team and On-site Civil Complaint Office
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 9th that it has prepared a comprehensive improvement plan to support the move-in process for 9,658 households scheduled to move into apartments completed through redevelopment projects in 2025.
Starting with Imun 1 District, scheduled for move-in in January next year, a total of 9,658 households are expected to move into Hwikyung 3 District, Imun 3-1 District, Yongdu 1-3 District, Dapsimni 17 District, and others. The district established this plan to prevent delays in completion and move-in and to provide convenience to residents.
The improvement plan includes strengthening the function of the preliminary consultation body and establishing an organic relationship with the quality inspection team and the on-site civil complaint office. The preliminary consultation body is a system in which the district independently promotes preliminary consultations three months before applying for completion approval to prevent delays in approval. Under this plan, the preliminary consultation body will be formed six months before the completion approval application, and biweekly progress meetings will be held to seek solutions to issues before the preliminary consultation.
The quality inspection team is a system where experts and observers conduct pre-move-in inspections to minimize defects, operated under a self-established plan according to the Housing Act.
According to the improvement plan, the number of inspection committee members will be increased, and through additional inspections by the preliminary consultation body, the status of corrective actions on pointed-out issues will be continuously managed until completion approval.
The on-site civil complaint office is a system established to support move-in after completion approval, allowing residents to easily access and handle necessary tasks such as ▲move-in registration ▲fixed date and lease registration ▲issuance of resident registration certificates and extracts ▲large waste disposal registration within the residential complex. The district plans to ensure that during preliminary consultations with other agencies for completion approval, the on-site civil complaint office can provide school assignment and transfer guidance as well as fire safety (evacuation) instructions.
