View original imageAt around 3:18 p.m. on the 8th, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) traveling on a two-lane road in Wondong-myeon, Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, veered off and fell into a wooded hill.
According to the South Gyeongsang Fire Department, the accident caused the vehicle to fall about 3 meters, and the driver, a man in his 60s identified as Mr. A, suffered serious injuries to his femur, neck, and abdomen. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
Firefighters, who were dispatched after a passerby reported the incident, rescued Mr. A, who was trapped in the overturned vehicle.
It was confirmed that Mr. A was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
