Now in its third year, the Career Challenge scholarship program supports university students who dream of starting a business by enabling them to creatively carry out various activities required in the startup preparation process.
The Career Challenge scholars were publicly recruited through the foundation’s website. Based on their startup activity plans, 30 final candidates were selected through document screening and presentation evaluations. The selected scholars receive differentiated scholarships of 5 million KRW or 3 million KRW per person according to their ranking, along with support for carrying out startup activities and opportunities to participate in various programs such as scholar camps and networking events.
The SeAH Haeam Academic Scholarship Foundation plans to encourage scholars’ participation in programs by holding a contest on their performance after the Career Challenge program ends and providing additional scholarships.
In fact, scholars selected for the Career Challenge program have produced various success stories over the past two years, including launching online trading platforms, clothing brands, education matching services, and winning youth startup competitions.
Meanwhile, the event also featured the awarding of Career Challenge scholarship certificates, special lectures on youth entrepreneurship by invited experts, and networking events among participants.
