Deloitte Korea Group is hosting a ‘EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Response Webinar.’
Deloitte plans to discuss understanding and response strategies for CBAM in this webinar, which will be held online on July 5. The EU’s CBAM is a system that imposes taxes on imports of products with high carbon emissions, and Korean companies need to prepare accordingly.
This webinar will serve as an opportunity to explore corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies and response measures. Related experts will speak about the key aspects, impacts, and response strategies of CBAM. Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on specific CBAM requirements, preparation methods, and response strategies that companies can adopt.
A Deloitte representative stated, "CBAM is an important issue that could significantly impact Korean companies," adding, "We hope this webinar will help companies develop effective measures to respond to CBAM."
