Naju City Council Holds '9th Term Second Half Inauguration Ceremony'... Discusses Key Issues
The Naju City Council of Jeollanam-do (Chairman Lee Jaenam) announced on the 1st that it held the inauguration ceremony for the second half of the 9th Naju City Council.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by about 70 people including Naju Mayor Yoon Byungtae, provincial council members, former chairmen, and citizens.

The ceremony began with a visit to the Memorial Tower and Jeongryeolsa Shrine, followed by a sharing session on the achievements of the first half of the 9th council.
Afterwards, the vision for the council’s activities in the second half was presented, along with an explanation of the specific directions for legislative activities on major pending issues.
Chairman Lee Jaenam said in his inaugural speech, “As chairman, I will take on this heavy responsibility with proactive thinking and political imagination to create a more livable Naju and a Naju where citizens are happy.”
He added, “I announce the legislative goal for the second half as ‘A Council Acting Together with Citizens’ and promise to actively carry out legislative activities for the development of Naju and the happiness of its citizens.”
Meanwhile, the 9th Naju City Council has reorganized and newly established standing committees, operating with a total of four standing committees. It is expected that the second half will strengthen the professionalism and efficiency of legislative activities and respond to the diverse demands of citizens.
The leadership team for the second half consists of Chairman Lee Jaenam, Vice Chairman Kim Gwanyong, Chair of the Council Operations Committee Kim Gangjeong, Chair of the Administrative Welfare Committee Jo Yeongmi, Chair of the Energy Tourism Committee Kim Cheolmin, and Chair of the Agriculture Construction Committee Kim Haewon.
