Donation of Goods Worth 1 Million KRW Monthly from June to December This Year (Total 7 Million KRW)
On the 25th, Homeplus Wolgok Branch (Branch Manager Kim Daesik) in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seungro) donated 10 summer bedding sets and 10 fans worth a total of 1 million KRW to multicultural and single-parent families within Seongbuk-gu.
The donated items were given with the hope of preventing heat-related illnesses caused by the scorching heat and helping vulnerable households with children living in poor housing conditions to stay cool during the summer.
Homeplus Wolgok Branch’s ‘Sharing Supporters’ activity began as part of their social contribution efforts, and they plan to donate goods worth a total of 7 million KRW, 1 million KRW each month from June to December this year, to help neighbors in need within Seongbuk-gu.
