Changnyeong County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 27th that Kim Sungwon, CEO of Kangwoon Tech residing in Changwon City, donated 5 million won to the county through the Hometown Love Donation Program, marking the highest individual donation to date.
Kim Sungwon, who operates an industrial equipment and pump manufacturing business in Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon City, has been donating scholarships to his hometown in other local governments every year. This time, he contributed to Changnyeong County, where his wife's family is from, through the Hometown Love Donation Program.

Kim Sungwon stated, "I decided to participate in the Hometown Love Donation Program to contribute, even in a small way, to the development of Changnyeong County, where my wife's family lives."
County Governor Sung Nakin expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank CEO Kim Sungwon for expressing his love for his wife's hometown through this special donation," and added, "We will continue to do our best to build a prosperous Changnyeong where all residents are happy."
