Seongdong-gu Hosts 'Health and Care Hub Seongdong' Expo Utilizing Smart Technology
On the 2nd of next month at the District Office, 27 Organizations Participate
Experience Kiosks, Smart Glasses, AI Speakers, and More
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) will hold the ‘Smart Inclusive Health and Care Hub Seongdong’ expo on the 2nd of next month, where health and care-related information utilizing smart technology can be accessed all in one place.
‘Smart Inclusive Health and Care Hub Seongdong’ was organized to promote and allow residents to experience excellent projects related to care and health using smart technology in Seongdong-gu, helping them feel closer to and better understand the smart inclusive city of Seongdong.
Co-planned by Seongdong-gu and the Seongdong-gu Community Security Council, the expo will feature 27 institutions and companies related to smart care and health, including outstanding local health management and smart care project performers and social economy enterprises in Seongdong-gu. There will be 29 booths for exhibitions, consultations, and experiences. A comprehensive welfare consultation desk will also provide various welfare information and counseling.
On the first floor of the Seongdong-gu Office, the Rainbow Lounge will host a smart care booth. Here, visitors can experience software developed to improve cognitive function and prevent dementia, as well as educational kiosks designed for digitally vulnerable groups. They can also try on smart glasses that convert real-time speech into subtitles and biometric measurement devices that monitor health simply by wearing them.
At the entrance of the auditorium on the third floor of the district office, a smart exercise equipment experience booth will be operated. Visitors can directly use various types of equipment and check their health status based on the measurement results.
Inside the auditorium, the Smart Care Zone will showcase demonstrations of various artificial intelligence Internet of Things (IoT) devices used by local smart care institutions, introduce a monitoring platform for preventing solitary deaths including the Smart Check-in Service, exhibit AI speakers with support content demonstrations, and offer safety management solutions for vulnerable elderly individuals.
The Healthcare Zone will feature participation from 11 institutions providing various health consultations and customized information.
