Hanhwa Investment & Securities, Bankis Bond Investment Event... Up to $100 Cash

Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 25th that it will hold a bond investment event for customers of the online-only trading service 'BanKIS' until July 31.

In this event, customers who have a net purchase amount of overseas bonds of $1,000 or more will receive Starbucks coffee coupons or up to $100 in cash, depending on the amount range. Separate participation registration is required, and an 80% preferential exchange rate benefit is provided when exchanging dollars needed for overseas bond purchases.

During the same period, a domestic over-the-counter (OTC) bond investment event will also be held. Customers with a net purchase amount of OTC bonds of 10 million KRW or more will receive department store gift certificates up to 200,000 KRW, depending on the amount range. However, some OTC bonds may not be redeemable before maturity depending on the bond type, and even if early redemption is possible, benefits cannot be received if sold before the event ends.

Meanwhile, securities accounts required for bond investment can be easily opened through the MTS 'Korea Investment' mobile app. For overseas bonds, a separate overseas securities trading application procedure is required after opening a securities account.
