Kim Ajin, Seocheon County Council Member, Urges Removal of Illegal Outdoor Advertisements at Bus Stops
There have been calls to remove illegal outdoor advertisements installed at bus stops in the Seocheon-gun area of Chungnam.
Kim Ah-jin, a member of the Seocheon-gun Council (Democratic Party), pointed out during the administrative audit held the day before that "there have been no approvals for outdoor advertisements at bus stops in the past three years, yet advertisements have been installed."
She added, "According to the Act on the Management of Outdoor Advertisements and the Promotion of the Outdoor Advertising Industry, installation of advertisements requires the approval of the county governor," and argued, "Illegal advertisements do not undergo necessary verification procedures such as safety inspections and mandatory subscription to liability insurance for damages."
