Yangcheon District Mayor Lee Gi-jae Attends 'Rice Delivery Ceremony at Doseonsa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism'
Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the 'Korean Buddhist Jogye Order Doseonsa Rice Donation Ceremony' held on the afternoon of the 24th at the district office meeting room (5th floor).
Doseonsa, a direct temple of the Korean Buddhist Jogye Order, was founded in 862 by Doseon Guksa and is a historic site for national protection and repentance prayers. It has been continuously engaged in various social contribution projects.
On this day, the district received 300 bags of rice (10kg each) worth 10 million won from Doseonsa. The donated goods will be distributed to 300 households using the Yangcheon District Food Bank Market Center.
