Jang Youngsoo, President of Pukyong National University, and Philip Goldberg, United States Ambassador to Korea, have signed an MOU for the opening of an 'American Corner'.
President Jang Youngsoo and Ambassador Philip Goldberg recently signed the MOU at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. They agreed to open an 'American Corner' at Pukyong National University this September, providing students and the general public in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region with a variety of resources and programs related to American education and culture.
The 'American Corner' is part of a global public diplomacy initiative by U.S. embassies, serving as a space that offers information on American history, culture, and study abroad opportunities, as well as hosting related programs.
