Gyeonggi-do Produces Disaster Response Guideline Videos for Heavy Rain, Heatwaves, and Earthquakes
Gyeonggi Province is promoting citizen behavior guidelines during disasters through animation.
On the 24th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it plans to produce entertaining videos using the provincial government character ‘Bonggong-i’ to help people of all ages easily understand disaster preparedness guidelines. These videos will be accessible to residents via apartment elevators and G Bus TVs.
The videos cover key disaster response guidelines for events such as typhoons and heavy rain, heatwaves, and earthquakes.
In addition, Gyeonggi Province will promote subscription to flood and earthquake insurance supported by the national government and provincial and city/county governments to ensure practical compensation for disaster damages.
