Hwaseong-si Women's Association Council Hosts 'Women's Harmony Festival'
The Gyeonggi-do Hwaseong City Women's Association held the "18th Hwaseong City Women's Harmony Festival" on the 22nd at the Hwaseong Sports Complex Indoor Gymnasium.

About 700 people attended the event, including Jeong Myeong-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong, Kim Gyeong-hee, Chairperson of Hwaseong City Council, Seo Hyo-sook, President of Hwaseong City Women's Association, members of the National Assembly, and members from 10 local women's organizations. During the commemorative ceremony, five members of women's organizations who contributed to the advancement of women were also awarded.
The Hwaseong City Women's Association is composed of approximately 4,300 members from a total of 10 organizations, including the Hwaseong City Branch of the Korean Red Cross, Hwaseong City Women's Volunteer Fire Brigade, and Hwaseong City Life Improvement Association. The association engages in various community activities such as promoting women's rights and social participation and helping neighbors.
Seo Hyo-sook, President of Hwaseong City Women's Association, said, "It became an opportunity for women active in various fields to communicate and harmonize together, strengthening the unity of the organization and fostering friendship."
