After hitting a motorcycle with a passenger car, argument leads to crime
Court: "The victim's injuries are severe"
A man in his 40s who hit a motorcycle with his passenger car while reversing and then assaulted the accident victim with a brazen attitude was sentenced to prison.
On the 22nd, Park Seong-min, Chief Judge of Criminal Division 3 at Chuncheon District Court, announced that A (49), who was indicted on charges of special injury, was sentenced to one year in prison with a two-year probation.
A was tried for repeatedly pushing B (56) in the chest and hitting B's face several times with the hand holding an electronic cigarette in a motel parking lot in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, last November.
He committed the crime after an argument broke out when he reversed his passenger car and collided with B's motorcycle. It is known that B suffered fractures requiring about four weeks of treatment due to A's assault.
