Jeongeup-si to Launch 'Mobile Stamp Tour' Starting from the 24th

Jeongeup City in Jeollabuk-do will launch a mobile stamp tour using an electronic map app starting from the 24th to provide a special memory for tourists visiting Jeongeup ahead of the summer vacation season.

According to the city on the 21st, the stamp tour locations include a total of 27 sites: 7 locations in the Naejangsan Leisure and Recreation Zone, 8 in the Donghak Peasant Revolution Cultural Zone, 5 in the Jeongeupsa Cultural Zone, 6 in the Taesan Seonbi Cultural Zone, and Saemgoeul Market, among others.

To participate in the stamp tour, visitors must download the mobile app (Jeongeup City electronic map) or access the Jeongeup electronic map website, sign up as a member, and visit the stamp tour locations where stamps will be automatically marked via GPS recognition.

Participants who collect 8 or more stamps at the tour locations can apply for delivery of one of Jeongeup’s specialty products, either 2.5 kg of oats or a meal kit from Jeongeup’s popular restaurants (Yangjagang, Singane Gukbap, Boan Sikdang), through a Naver form.

Additionally, tourists who upload posts on social media tagging the essential travel hashtag JeongeupStampTour will receive a tourist postcard as an extra gift.

Souvenir distribution is limited to once per year and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.

A city official said, “We prepared souvenirs hoping that tourists visiting Jeongeup will remember their travel memories once again at home,” adding, “We hope this stamp tour will become an opportunity for the relatively lesser-known tourist map of Jeongeup to be loved.”
