Yeosu Gwangyang Port Corporation Supports Social Economy Enterprises with Live Commerce
Expansion of Market Channels and Online Marketing for Social Economy Enterprises
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) announced on the 19th that it will promote the "2024 Social Economy Enterprise Live Commerce Support Project" to expand online sales channels for social economy enterprises in the Gwangyang Bay area.
This project targets food-related social economy enterprises in Yeosu, Gwangyang, and Suncheon, providing opportunities to participate in "live commerce" broadcasts where influencers such as comedians, professional MCs, and SNS celebrities broadcast directly from production and manufacturing sites.
The project will include consulting by professional food stylists for live commerce broadcasts, covering everything from setting the broadcast concept and image/video shooting to providing short-form content after the broadcast, operating separate special exhibitions, and holding special broadcasts for outstanding products at the end of the year.
Small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to participate must apply by July 2, and the Authority plans to select three companies from each of the Yeosu, Gwangyang, and Suncheon regions through evaluation.
