Ulsan City to Select Best Volunteer Organizations... Information Session on Selection Project
Representatives and Staff from 48 Participating Organizations Attend
Ulsan City will hold a briefing session for the 'Ulsan, the City of Dreams: Best Volunteer Organization Selection' project at 2 p.m. on the 3rd floor meeting room of the City Council on the 20th.
This project is a new initiative to revitalize volunteer organizations by selecting outstanding groups and offering special benefits among those registered with the 1365 Volunteer Portal in Ulsan, targeting organizations with more than 30 members.
The event will be attended by around 100 people, including representatives and staff from 48 volunteer organizations. The program will proceed with introductions of participating organizations, an overview and schedule of the project, and a Q&A session. A total of 48 volunteer organizations have applied for this project.
Ulsan City plans to evaluate the volunteer activities carried out by these organizations from the 20th to October 15 and select a total of 10 outstanding organizations: one Grand Prize winner, one Excellence Award winner, three Merit Award winners, and five Encouragement Award winners.
The selected outstanding organizations will receive the Ulsan Metropolitan Mayor's Award, invitations to capacity-building workshops, and incentives to participate in the 2025 volunteer organization revitalization project.
