Gyeonggawon Selects 3 Robot Demonstration Companies... 80 Million KRW Support Per Company
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency has selected three companies to conduct a robot demonstration project.
The agency announced on the 19th that it selected three companies?AR247 Co., Ltd., RoboBlock System Co., Ltd., and Adent Robot Co., Ltd.?through an open recruitment focused on robot demonstration fields applicable in logistics, medical care, manufacturing, and everyday life. Each company will receive 80 million KRW in project funding.
AR247 plans to provide a service linking food delivery between restaurants around Gachon University and students in this demonstration. The AI robot technology will autonomously recognize nearby obstacles and traffic lights during the delivery process and perform automatic delivery.
RoboBlock System will demonstrate a robot capable of automating floor finishing work after concrete pouring at construction sites.
Adent Robot intends to demonstrate a solution that applies voice recognition to its mobile robots, enabling collaborative work with operators in logistics warehouses.

Kang Seong-cheon, head of the agency, stated, "As AI converges with robot technology, the demand for demonstration projects to secure industrial competitiveness is increasing. In particular, this recruitment recorded a high competition rate of over 5 to 1." He added, "Through demonstration projects, we will actively discover promising robot companies in Gyeonggi-do and make further efforts to foster the robot industry in the region."
