Mapo-gu Holds Steering Committee Meeting for Daejang~Hongdae Line DMC Station Metropolitan Railway Construction Project
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) held a regular meeting of the Metropolitan Railroad Construction Project Promotion Committee for the construction of a new Daejang~Hongdae Line DMC (Digital Media City) Station at the Mapo-gu Office large conference room on the afternoon of the 18th.
The promotion committee meeting was attended by 13 members, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, and Baek Nam-hwan, the chairman of the committee, who are involved in the Mapo-gu Metropolitan Railroad Construction Project.
On this day, the committee members shared and discussed the progress of the feasibility study for the establishment of the new DMC Station, which officially began last month.

Before the meeting started, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu said, “Mapo-gu has repeatedly pursued meetings with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and consultations with related project organizations to ensure that the DMC Station can be newly established on the Daejang~Hongdae Line, and the feasibility study is currently underway. Mapo-gu will definitely secure the additional establishment of the DMC Station to resolve transportation inconveniences for Mapo-gu residents.”
