According to data from the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation’s FactoryOn, the number of approvals and registrations for knowledge industry centers nationwide has been increasing annually, with 1,282 cases in 2021 and 1,464 cases in 2022. Last year also saw an increase of 61 cases from the previous year, totaling 1,528 cases.
Nonetheless, even in this situation, knowledge industry centers that possess various advantages such as location, scale, and product competitiveness through diverse specialized designs are attracting demand. This is because issues such as rising sale prices and the possibility of interest rate declines have led to increased demand to secure knowledge industry centers with high future value.
