On the 18th, Suwon City announced that it has established the task force at the Park and Greenery Office and the Park and Greenery Departments of four district offices to strengthen forest pest monitoring, carry out timely control, and actively respond to sudden pests to minimize damage.

A Suwon city official stated, "We will strengthen monitoring during the peak period of forest pest outbreaks to carry out timely control," and added, "We will actively respond to sudden pests to maintain the health of Suwon's forest ecosystem."
