Naju-si Holds 'Civil Servant Kindness and Proactive Administration' Training at Culture and Arts Center
Recently, Naju City in Jeollanam-do conducted a 2024 public officials' kindness and proactive administration training for all employees at the Cultural and Arts Center.
According to the city on the 17th, this training was organized to shift public officials' perception of proactive administration and to spread a culture of proactive administration based on kindness and empathy skills.

Yu-jeong Noh, an instructor from Edu Coaching Korea, who led the training, delivered lectures on basic customer service methods such as empathy skills based on self-understanding and telephone etiquette.
In particular, she helped employees understand the rigid and difficult concept of proactive administration through various real-life cases, eliciting their empathy and positive response.
Instructor Yu-jeong Noh emphasized cultivating a positive mindset, stating, “A public official’s kind attitude and proactive administration directly lead to citizen satisfaction.”
Mayor Byung-tae Yoon said, “Kindness is a fundamental virtue of public officials, and proactive administration is the shortcut to becoming a premium city, Naju, and to the era of 5 million Naju tourists,” adding, “I hope that through this training, you become masters of proactive administration who put citizens first and bring honor to Naju City.”
Meanwhile, the city is promoting various projects such as proactive administration training, selection of ‘Outstanding Public Officials in Proactive Administration,’ discovery and promotion of ‘Best Practices,’ and selection of ‘Key Tasks’ to establish and spread a culture of proactive administration in the public sector.
