View original imageOn the 17th, Yonhap News reported that around 7:48 a.m., Ms. A collapsed on the platform at Gimpo Airport Station of the Gimpo Urban Railroad (Gimpo Gold Line) in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. It was reported that Ms. A felt dizzy while on the train heading from Gochon Station to Gimpo Airport Station, and as soon as she got off the train, she sat down and requested help.
The Gimpo Gold Line authorities dispatched emergency responders to the scene, who checked Ms. A’s health condition and took measures to help her rest for about five minutes until she was able to move on her own. Currently, the Gimpo Gold Line has private emergency personnel stationed at the terminal station, Gimpo Airport Station, to prevent safety accidents caused by passenger overcrowding during rush hours.

A representative from the Gimpo Gold Line stated, "Ms. A was not transported to a hospital," and added, "We will review the on-site closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to determine whether this incident is related to train congestion."
