Kakao Pay Unveils 'Apple Zone' Bringing Apple Services Together in One Place
2-4 Months Free Benefits for New and Existing Subscribers
Kakao Pay announced on the 17th that it has launched a dedicated Apple service space within its application (app) called the ‘Apple Zone.’ The Apple Zone allows iPhone users to link their Kakao Pay accounts to their Apple ID and make payments for Apple services easily and securely.
Users who link their Kakao Pay account with their Apple ID can manage their App Store and Apple service purchase and subscription history within the Apple Zone. They can also check payment details through digital receipts. Additionally, users can apply for limited-time benefits and free trial period extensions offered by Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, and more. For inquiries, users can communicate directly with the Apple support team.
Registering or changing payment methods in the Apple Zone is also simple. By tapping ‘Payment Methods’ at the top, a list of cards registered to Kakao Pay and Kakao Pay Money appears, from which users can select their preferred payment method. New cards can also be added via the ‘Register Card’ option at the bottom.
To celebrate the launch of the Apple Zone, Kakao Pay is running various promotions. Users who register Kakao Pay as a payment method in the Apple Zone can enjoy the ‘Apple Service Promotion’ benefits until the 5th of next month. Until the 19th of next month, users can also receive items for the games ‘Dream House’ and ‘Dream Garden’ on a first-come, first-served basis. Furthermore, by completing three quizzes related to the Apple Zone, users will be entered into a draw to receive Kakao Pay Points. Apple Arcade offers free service for 3 months to new subscribers and 2 months to re-subscribers. Apple Music and iCloud+ provide free service for 2 months and 4 months respectively to new subscribers.
