The campaign, held under the theme "Cancer Pain Can Be Controlled," was organized to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and to promote a correct understanding of pain.
The campaign, hosted by the hospital's hospice team, featured various activities including △ introduction to hospice and palliative care services △ cancer pain OX quiz and souvenir distribution △ distribution of pain management leaflets and consultations.
Kim Eun-seok, Director of the Hospice and Palliative Care Office, said, "We hope this campaign helped cancer patients develop a proper awareness of pain control and improve their quality of life."

Meanwhile, Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital was designated as an "Advisory Hospice Specialized Institution" by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in February.
