L&K Biomed Holds Seminar with Thailand's Chulalongkorn University Hospital
Spinal implant company L&K Biomed announced on the 14th that it held a seminar on the 10th in collaboration with the Department of Orthopedics at the Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Thailand to promote the excellence of its height-expandable cage products, ExcelFix-XTP and ExcelFix-XT.
About 20 participants attended, including residents, fellows, and faculty members from the Department of Orthopedics at Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital, as well as fellows from overseas. The seminar program consisted of three sections: ▲ Introduction of height-expandable cage products (ExcelFix-XTP, ExcelFix-XT) ▲ Product research presentation (Suitability of height-expandable cages vs. conventional cages) ▲ Product demonstration and Q&A.
Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital, which co-hosted the seminar, has been ranked as the number one university in Thailand for 15 consecutive years in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. L&K Biomed held the seminar to promote the excellence and competitiveness of its products by designating Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital as a key training center in its Southeast Asia network.
A representative from L&K Biomed stated, "We are planning various programs, including seminars, to highlight the advantages of our flagship height-expandable cage products and establish ourselves as a strong player in both domestic and international medical markets." They added, "With a solid network formed around the height-expandable cage products, we aim to secure the promising Southeast Asian market and position ourselves as a leading spinal implant company in Southeast Asia amid competition with global corporations."

L&K Biomed will conduct a cadaver workshop focused on height-expandable cage products at Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital in August this year. Physicians from across Thailand who graduated from Chulalongkorn, as well as medical professionals from Southeast Asia including Vietnam and Malaysia, will attend. A cadaver workshop is also planned at Ho Chi Minh University Hospital in Vietnam.
