Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced that the Yangcheon Startup Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Center’) will operate a 'ChatGPT Special Lecture' every Thursday at 1 PM for one month starting July 4th to support job seekers and entrepreneurs in strengthening their market competitiveness and innovating their work based on artificial intelligence technology.
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology has the advantage of improving business efficiency and reducing costs without much effort, enabling data-driven decision-making. Through this, entrepreneurs can enhance their competitiveness not only by automating tasks but also by providing customized services to customers. Therefore, it is essential for entrepreneurs to learn and apply such technology through AI special lectures for successful startups and sustainable growth.
Accordingly, the district plans to improve accessibility to AI technology and work efficiency by preparing the ‘ChatGPT Special Lecture’ for job seekers and entrepreneurs in line with this trend and high educational demand.
The training course consists of ▲Understanding AI and content ▲Generating text, images, and videos using AI ▲Practical AI content production ▲Building startup items and business models, and Lee Hyun-sang, president of the Korea AI Utilization Association, is scheduled to serve as the instructor.
The special lecture is open to 20 participants, and any resident interested in AI technology can participate. The application period is from June 19 to 29, and applications can be submitted via Google Form (QR code) or the Yangcheon-gu Lifelong Learning Portal. All participants will be provided with one Americano, and one-on-one tailored consultations with startup experts will be linked upon request.
Meanwhile, centered on the Yangcheon Startup Support Center, the district provides one-stop support services such as expert mentoring and capacity-building education to help prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs smoothly settle from the basics to actual startup. Last year, a total of 11 teams in manufacturing, horticulture, and food service received support from the district and achieved startup success.
