Nong-eochon Gong Naju Branch and Bonghwang Police Station Sign Agreement to Promote Participatory Policing
Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch (Branch Manager Kang Su-jin) announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement with Bonghwang Police Substation (Chief Kim Ju-seop) to "activate participatory policing."
In this agreement, both organizations agreed to cooperate in preventing traffic and safety accidents involving the elderly, which have become a social issue in the ultra-aged society era, and in protecting socially vulnerable groups.
Kang Su-jin, Branch Manager of the Naju Branch, said, "We will actively cooperate to protect the safety of elderly people who are vulnerable to traffic accidents through joint safety campaigns and other efforts."
The safety campaign was conducted on the same day from 2 p.m. with about 10 employees from the Naju Branch and about 10 police officers from the Bonghwang Police Substation, along with other related personnel.
Both organizations plan to continue related activities in the future.
