Careful Evaluation of Task Levels and Workload to Select Job Fields That Help Skill Development
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is recruiting the first participants for the ‘Youth Administrative Intern’ program, which provides job experience opportunities in public institutions for young people preparing for employment, until the 21st of this month.
To ensure the quality of the newly implemented ‘Youth Administrative Intern’ program, the district carefully evaluates the task level and workload to select job fields that can genuinely help develop participants' capabilities and then recruits participants accordingly.
Additionally, regular communication meetings will be held to share opinions on organizational adaptation and job duties, supporting young people to actively engage in their work.
The recruitment is for a total of 8 people across 7 job fields: ▲1 person at Gwangjin-gu Office’s Culture and Arts Division (supporting festival planning and operation) ▲1 person at Gwangjin-gu Sewing Industry Comprehensive Support Center (manufacturing capacity enhancement training) ▲2 people at Seoul Youth Center Gwangjin (Youth Challenge Support Project, planning and operating youth programs) ▲2 people at Gunja Health Center (maintaining healthy lifestyle exercise) ▲1 person at Gwangjin-gu Dementia Safety Center (operating customized cognitive health programs) ▲1 person at Gwangjin Information Library (library materials room operation).
Applicants must be young people aged 19 to 39 residing in the area, including those on leave from school, prospective graduates, or graduates who are currently unemployed. However, current students, those with a business registration certificate, and those participating in overlapping public job projects are excluded. Preference will be given to those with relevant majors or certifications.
Youth wishing to apply can refer to the ‘Recruitment Announcement’ on the ‘Gwangjin-gu Office website’ and submit application documents via email to the person in charge. Selection will be made through document screening and interviews, with results notified individually.
Selected youths will work from July 2nd to December and receive a monthly salary of 2,390,000 KRW based on the 2024 Gwangjin-gu living wage.
