Icheon Changjeon-dong Cultural Street 'Ground Fountain' Operation Starts from the 24th
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will operate the ground fountain installed in 'Changjeon-dong Culture Street' for three months starting from the 24th to welcome the summer. The operating hours are twice daily, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The city completed cleaning the fountain and checking its normal operation last month, and plans to conduct continuous water quality tests during the operation period to ensure safety.

Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, said, "We hope that operating the ground fountain will help revitalize the commercial areas of the nearby Gwango Traditional Market and Jungang-ro merchants," adding, "It will be a time for citizens to cool off from the midsummer heat, even if just for a moment."
