Uiryeong Office of Education Conducts In-house Security Training and Fire Drill at New Office
Focus on Building Structure, Familiarize with Evacuation Routes, and Enhance Government Complex Safety
The Uiryeong Office of Education in Gyeongnam conducted an in-house fire drill for all employees following the relocation to the new office building.
The drill, held on the 12th, was the first in-house fire drill since the move. Employees were educated on the organization and roles of departmental fire response teams, familiarized with the new evacuation routes?different from those in the previous building due to the new structure?and trained on the use of various fire extinguishing equipment.
Seo, an administrative support officer who participated in the drill, said, "I wasn't sure how to respond in an actual emergency in the new building, but through today's drill, I was able to learn in detail about the roles of the fire response team and how to use a fire extinguisher."
Director Kwon Soonhee stated, "I hope this drill helps employees develop the ability to respond calmly and quickly in real situations. We will continue to focus on building security and safety through regular training in the future."
