Suwon City Provides Home Repair Support for 699 Low-Rise Residential Units
Suwon City has selected 699 households as recipients of support from Saebit House.
View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province has selected 699 households as beneficiaries of the Suwon-style low-rise residential repair support project, ‘Saebit House’.
On the 11th, Suwon City held the ‘House Repair Selection and Advisory Committee’ at the Suwon Urban Foundation and announced on the 12th that the Saebit House recipients had been selected.
Earlier, from March to April, Suwon City recruited households to participate in the Saebit House project. At that time, 2,268 households applied.
Suwon City reviewed the appropriateness of support, construction cost unit prices, and quantities for the applicant houses and finalized 699 households. The total subsidy application amount is 3,142,850,000 KRW.
Suwon City will conduct construction and interim inspections of the house repair project from June to October, and completion inspections from July to October.
Saebit House is a project that supports repair costs for aging low-rise houses within the house repair support area.
The eligible houses are those under four stories (detached, multi-family, or row houses) that have been approved for use for more than 20 years. Support is up to 12 million KRW, with a 10% self-payment ratio.

Suwon City started the project in October last year and has confirmed support for 1,000 households so far. The goal is to support 2,000 households by 2026.
