Busan Office of Education to Enhance Elementary Administrators' Educational Guidance Skills and Leadership
Workshop to Strengthen Supervisory Competence for Elementary School Principals
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) will hold a workshop to strengthen the supervisory capabilities of elementary school administrators for two days, June 11 and 12, in the Gyeongju area, targeting 304 elementary school principals.
This workshop is designed to enhance the supervisory competencies of elementary school principals, foster school management leadership, and establish a cooperative system among administrators.
The Office of Education will focus the workshop on strengthening supervisory capabilities through special lectures and group discussions, emphasizing participants' understanding of future education paradigms.
Professor Shin Jongho of Seoul National University will give a lecture on "Strengthening Supervisory and Leadership Competencies of Principals in the Era of Digital Education Transition," and Professor Emeritus Hwang Gyooho of Ewha Womans University will lecture on "Understanding the 2022 Revised Curriculum and Elementary School Autonomous Time."
Following this, Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo will deliver a lecture on "The Vision and Policy of Practical Education."
After the special lectures, participants will engage in group discussions to seek solutions for local and school-related issues, focusing on education-centered school management. Through this, cooperation and solidarity among school administrators will also be strengthened.
