On the 11th, Samil Accounting Corporation and the Next Generation Foundation announced that they have signed a business agreement to improve the management environment of nonprofit startups.

The signing ceremony was held on the 10th at Dongnakga, operated by the Next Generation Foundation with support from the Baboe Nanum Foundation. Attendees included Yoon Kyuseop, partner at Samil Accounting Corporation, Byun Youngsun, head of the nonprofit specialist team, and Bang Daewook, CEO of the Next Generation Foundation.
Samil Accounting Corporation established the industry’s first “Nonprofit Corporation Support Center” in July 2016 and has been providing specialized services such as nonprofit corporation establishment consulting, accounting and tax advisory, and management diagnosis. Additionally, on its 50th anniversary in 2020, the firm developed and distributed for free the public interest corporation accounting system “STARS” to enhance transparency and efficiency for nonprofit corporations.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to provide tax and accounting capacity-building education to nonprofit startups participating in the incubating project and offer consulting tailored to each organization.

Bang Daewook, CEO of the Next Generation Foundation, said, “As nonprofit startups grow, accounting and tax obligations increase, but early-stage organizations face difficulties due to lack of personnel,” and added, “We hope that with the support of Samil Accounting Corporation, nonprofit startups can overcome challenges in organizational management.”
